Greetings to all who share the wisdom of feng shui!

Personal Development!

Among the many how-to books there will always be one that speaks to you personally.  Perhaps it’s time to listen when the daily routine becomes too monotonous.  The latest research shows that stimulating the brain is crucial in maintaining health and youth.  But even that can become routine if we do the same old crossword puzzle over and over again.  Key to success is to break the routine and learn something new, or even use the left hand for something the right hand is used to doing.

Let’s propose that the steady flow of routine tasks is yin, which we know to always hide a spark of yang.  Then let’s ask if it’s time for that spark to get fired up into something new and exciting.  Reaching higher or going deeper will create the peaks and valleys we may need for a balanced yin and yang experience.

When Voltaire said “Il faut cultiver votre jardin,” perhaps he meant  that “cultivating your own garden” is to feng shui your home base and thus create a strong and healthy environment as an operating platform.  In this garden we can sprout all kinds of seeds, the yin inside of yang and the yang inside of yin, which will then blossom and grow so that we may harvest the fruit of our efforts.  Let’s heed the call for renewal and growth today on March 20th, the first day of Spring.

For extra stimulation and a yang renewal of spirit, FSIA, the Feng Shui Institute of America, offers multi-level courses in science-based feng shui.  Anyone will benefit from learning new ways of adjusting personal space to bring added pleasure and stimulation.  And for those with professional ambitions, new credentials will be developed.  For those of you in the North, come South, mark your calendar with the dates below, and
