Gabriele Van Zon, Ph.D
Through her expertise on Pyramid Feng Shui, Dr. Gabriele Van Zon provides her clients and the media with cutting edge information about the experience of place and its influence on human affairs.
With a Ph.D. in Literature – including a concentration in Aesthetics – from the City University of New York (CUNY), Dr. Van Zon is sensitive to the philosophy that connects human beings to nature, the expression of beauty, the laws of perception, and the highlights of living experiences.
With the breadth and depth of Ms. Van Zon’s language skills – in English, German, French, Dutch, Italian, Spanish and Mandarin – she began her academic career in writing and teaching. Two areas of particular interest to Van Zon is Feng Shui, the ancient art of Chinese placement and Chinese art forms, including Mandarin, Chinese brush & ink painting, Chinese calligraphy, Tai Chi and Qi Gong. Van Zon has devoted the equivalent of nineteen years to her Chinese art form studies.
In 2000 Van Zon became a certified feng shui practitioner from the contemporary western school of feng shui, Pyramid Feng Shui, developed by Nancilee Wydra, through the Feng Shui Institute of America. In 2002, Dr. Van Zon founded Feng Shui Universal, a pyramid feng shui business that is based in Florida but spans the nation with mobile consultations and teaching. Dr. Van Zon travels to numerous assignments nationwide, while serving her regular clientele in Florida, California, Nevada and Wisconsin.
Van Zon’s publications include “Word and Picture–Aesthetics in the Verbal and Visual Arts” (Peter Lange, publisher), books in English and German about Alfred Kubin and Fritz von Herzmanovsky-Orlando, newspaper articles, and for ten years she has published a Feng Shui newsletter and written articles pertaining to Feng Shui in publications such as Kirkwood Times, FSII Newsletter and Ponte Vedra Chamber Chat.
